Celia Purcell Contemporary promotes contemporary artists. We tend towards striking paintings, prints and sculpture, and are always interested in good draughtsmanship and a sense of colour. We enjoy looking out for undiscovered talent.

We began exhibiting in 1996 with a show of Nigerian paintings by Sally Ekpenyong. We have exhibited at the Art on Paper Fair at the RCA, The Affordable Art Fair in Battersea Park, The Chelsea Art Fair, St John’s Smith Square, The Troubadour, Earls Court and at ‘Suze’ in Mayfair.

 

Previous exhibitions include Edward Dicks, the celebrated composer and painter, whose portraits of jazz musicians and night club scenes are keenly collected and George Galitzine, with his collection of Sloane fashion shops.
