We are delighted to announce the forthcoming retrospective of works by Michael Horovitz who has been a key figure in the field of poetry since the 1960’s. He is also the founder/director of New Departures and the Poetry Olympics festivals, and writer of many books of verse. Free and brilliantly coloured expressionism, the worlds of jazz and other music have also inspired his diverse visual experiments.
The Exhibition is extended to 20th June. By appointment only

We
began exhibiting in 1996 at Gallery Forty-Seven with a show of Nigerian
paintings by Sally Ekpenyong. From then on we have held exhibitions regularly,
either at the Home Gallery or outside, at venues including St. John's
Smith Square, The Art on Paper Fair at the RCA and The Affordable Art
Fair in Battersea. Prices normally range from £75 to £5,000.
Our goal is to bring artists and buyers together in a
relaxed setting and we have run many home based exhibitions.
Celia Purcell Contemporary represents a variety of artists working in a range of media with an emphasis on a decorative approach. All our artists are distinctive for their high standard of draughtsmanship and use of colour.
