Sheila Mullen
Sheila trained at the Glasgow School of Art and had her
first exhibition there which was followed by
an invitation to exhibit at the Salon de Nations in Paris. Sheila is
the consummate painter of the landscape around her in the Scottish Borders.
Her use of colour and bold brushwork combined evoke something of the
Scottish Colourists. Scotland's history and culture are an intrinsic
part of Sheila's work and her latest paintings form a vivid tapestry
of the 'Border Ballads'. Sheila has exhibited widely, including in Scotland,
Hong Kong and London, and her paintings can be found in many private
collections.
